Can I update the information on my TapCard?

Yes, you can update your profile information as much as you’d like. Simply login to your TapCard account, fill the inputs and click save. Your Tap Card profile will be updated instantly.

Can I add my photo and logo to my profile?

Yes, your profile has the ability for you to upload your photo and a logo. If you don’t want a background in your photo/logo you can upload a transparent PNG.

Can I link multiple TapCards to my account?

Yes, you can link multiple TapCards to one profile. This is great for having your employees share the company’s contact info or simply having more than one card of your own.

Do TapCards work with all phones?

TapCards will work on most phones. Newer iPhones have a built-in NFC reader that is always on, while some other models require you to press a scan button from the phone’s Control Center on iPhones, or Quick Settings on Android devices. TapCards also have a QR code that can be scanned to load your profile if NFC is unavailable.

How do TapCards work?

TapCards work using two technologies. The “Tap” feature works using NFC technology, which most newer phones have. Simply hold the TapCard close to the top of the phone, usually it will get triggered before it even makes contact. Older phones such as iPhone 6 and older models do not support NFC. TapCards also have a QR code that can be scanned as a backup. Some Android devices have their scanners towards the bottom of the device.

Do I need an app to use my cards?

No, neither you nor the person scanning your card need to have an app. You can update your profile through any modern web browser. When your card is scanned it will open using the phone’s built in browser. If the phone does not have an NFC reader then it must scan the QR code. QR codes work on most phones by pointing its camera at the QR code.

What happens if I lose my TapCard?

If you lose your TapCard you can order a new one and link it to your existing profile, the profile will not need to get re-created. These replacement cards are sold at the same rates as any other TapCards.

How long can I use my TapCard?

TapCards will function for one year from date of activation. You can renew online for same rate as purchase price, enjoying the same bulk discounts
